The combination of merino wool and functional microfibers creates a two-layer structure for the fabric. Natural merino wool fibers and functional yarns enhance moisture transfer from the skin, which accumulates during physical activity. The natural thermoregulating properties of merino wool help maintain optimal body temperature, preventing overheating or chilling. The seamless finish prevents chafing and irritation, regardless of the activity you’re engaged in. The flexible fabric adjusts to your body shape without restricting movement. Merino wool not only regulates temperature but also resists absorbing unpleasant odors, ensuring long-lasting freshness. The individual merino wool fibers are three times thinner than human hair, so you’re not exposed to itching or scratching. Brubeck uses only the highest quality merino wool with a thickness of 16.5 microns. Ventilation zones are placed throughout the sweatshirt in areas prone to excessive sweating, ensuring efficient heat transfer to prevent overheating. Increased resistance to pilling and abrasion allows you to wear a heavy backpack or other mountaineering gear.

Piotr Pustelnik Talks About the Conditions in Which the Thermo Wool Set Was Tested
The Thermo Wool collection clothing was tested by Piotr Pustelnik in mountain regions with changing and challenging weather conditions. Piotr tested the Thermo Wool underwear in the Tatras during the winter and transitional seasons. It was part of his gear during his expedition to Spitsbergen, where it performed well in windy and damp conditions, and in the Cordillera Blanca in Peru, where it is dry and cold, particularly in the higher parts of Huascarán.
Piotr also tested the underwear during the ski season in the Bialskie Mountains, in low temperatures and falling snow, simulating the weather conditions encountered during skiing or snowboarding.
The results of Piotr’s tests allowed us to confirm the suitability of the Thermo Wool clothing collection for winter mountain trekking expeditions and winter sports activities.
