When creating the Merino Barefoot men’s shoes, we realised that nature knows best when it comes to what’s good for humans. That’s why we chose merino wool as one of the key production materials. Why? Because it boasts truly phenomenal insulating and thermoregulating properties. For years, we’ve been making merino wool underwear and activewear that helps maintain thermal comfort in both extremely low and high temperatures. Now your feet will experience this too!
But that’s not all the natural inspiration we’ve used in Merino Barefoot. We’ve worked hard to perfectly shape these shoes so they fit the foot ideally, mimic its biomechanics, and, as a result, support natural human movement. Additional comfort comes from the optimal amount of space in the upper and the Zero Drop technology, which ensures zero height difference between the heel and toes. In Merino Barefoot, as the name suggests, you’ll feel as though you’re walking barefoot — with the difference being that you’ll be effectively protected from uneven surfaces and the elements.

We’ve done a lot to make the Merino Barefoot men’s shoes protect the foot perfectly while ensuring full comfort for everyday wear. That’s why we introduced the Total Flex technology for extreme flexibility of the upper and the thin yet highly durable Ground Feel sole. The exterior of the shoes is made of functional microfibres, while the inner lining features an integrated merino wool insole that not only resists absorbing unpleasant odours but also stays fresh for a long time without the need for frequent washing.

Where are Merino Barefoot shoes made?
All elements of the footwear — the exterior made of functional microfibres, the interior with a merino wool integrated insole, and all the accessories — are produced in our factory located in central Poland, in Zduńska Wola. Our town has a rich textile history, and we are proud to continue it. Thanks to the fact that production takes place entirely in Poland, we have full control over every stage of our shoe production, from yarn creation to packaging and direct shipping to customers.
How to clean Merino Barefoot shoes?
Merino wool, from which the shoes are made, is easy to care for and doesn’t require frequent washing as it doesn’t absorb unpleasant smells. Compared to synthetic footwear, this allows you to enjoy a fresh scent for longer during use. However, if the shoes do need washing, simply machine wash them on the 'wool’ or 'delicate’ cycle at 30°C.
Merino Barefoot shoes are eco-friendly.
The wool used in our shoes is an eco-friendly, fully renewable, and biodegradable material. The wool production is based on traditional methods of harvesting, and the animals live semi-wild in their natural habitat. The wool we use comes from farms that do not practice mulesing. The upper is knitted from start to finish, so we avoid production waste that occurs with regular cutting and sewing techniques.
